Linking Arms with You: The Dancing House's Commitment to Hudson's Community
With 16 years under our belt, The Dancing House has become more than just a dance studio—it’s a cornerstone of our community. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of sharing the joy of dance with so many individuals and families. But our mission extends far beyond teaching steps and choreography. We aim to provide joy, creativity, fun, stress relief, fitness, and a welcoming space for everyone who walks through our doors.
We’ve always believed that dance should be accessible to all. That’s why we introduced our six-week sessions in 2020, a no-commitment opportunity for anyone curious about dance to join without barriers. During these sessions, there’s no need to purchase specialized outfits or shoes—we offer shoes to borrow, and we encourage dancers to feel comfortable being themselves.
Generosity Beyond Our Studio Doors
Our love for the community doesn’t stop at the studio walls. Thanks to the incredible support we receive, we’re able to give back generously to organizations both near and far.
This year, we’ve proudly supported the following groups:
- Turning Point Crisis Center
- Salvation Army
- Hudson and River Falls Library
- River Falls MOPs
- Feed My Starving Children
- Eagle Brook Church
- Saint Patrick School
- Trinity School
- Hudson High School Music Department
- Hudson Area Moms Group
- Sharon Richards Hospice Center
Each donation represents our gratitude for the trust and support you’ve shown us. Without you—our incredible TDH community—we couldn’t achieve this level of impact. Thank you for being part of this journey.
"Turn Out" for a Cause
Our Fifth Annual Black Friday Event Goes Live at 12:01am November 29th
One of the ways we love to give back is through our Black Friday Event, now entering its fifth year! This event is an incredible opportunity to share the gift of dance with even more families. It’s also the one time of year where we offer our steepest discounts—because we want to make dance as accessible as possible.
Here’s what you can look forward to during our Black Friday event:
- TDH Gift Cards: Perfect for that person who wants to grab something fast!
- Mini Sessions and Six-Week Sessions: Perfect for first-timers or anyone who wants to explore dance without a long-term commitment.
- Dance on Demand: A flexible, online platform for dancers to learn at their own pace.
- TDH Merchandise: Great for gifting, and with every purchase, you receive TDH credit on your account!
Dance is more than just an activity; it’s an experience. It creates memories, keeps people active, and brings joy—all without the need for batteries or assembly!
Shop Local, Support Big
As you shop for gifts this holiday season, we encourage you to think of small businesses. Every purchase you make at a local shop helps support the people in your community. It not only puts food on our tables but allows us to continue giving back in meaningful ways.
From all of us at The Dancing House, thank you for being part of our family. Your support keeps us thriving and empowers us to pour love and generosity back into our shared community.
Let’s keep dancing—and giving—together.
The Dancing House is wonderful. This is our 4 year old daughters first experience taking a class she loves it. We will for sure be back for more sessions! This has been such a wonderful experience, it is very well run! - Shannon R.
