"The Highlight of Your Week!"

2024-2025 Season Ages 8 - 17yr. 6 Week Sessions 2024 - 2025 Ages 2- 102 First Class Free

We found The Dancing House in 2021 after our 9-year-old showed interest in starting dance. We weren't sure how well she'd do and I was worried that she was starting dance late, so a studio specializing in beginners of all ages was perfect for us. The patient, encouraging, and positive atmosphere is wonderful, and the instructors are amazing. My now 13-year-old takes classes in many different styles of dance and has really grown up with The Dancing House. The Dancing House isn't a place only for beginners; they have something for everyone, and I would highly recommend The Dancing House to anyone, regardless of where they are in their dance journey. - Keisha M. , River Falls, Wisconsin

I love starting the day with yoga on Fridays and challenging myself with tap on Wednesday evening. Melissa is welcoming, energetic, experienced and talented and focuses on encouraging her students. A great way to keep active! - Adele D. Hudson, Wisconsin - Tap and Yoga student

Our daughter has been at the dancing house for about a year, and I have nothing but great things to say about her growth, her confidence, and how much she looks forward to class every week! You guys are awesome. - Brandice M., Hudson, Wisconsin

Fiona has come out of her shell over the last few weeks and is having so much fun in class. Thank you for being patient and allowing her the time to get comfortable. We will definitely will sign her up for future classes! - Erica R. Hudson, Wisconsin

Ballet Background

I swear, I did not tell her to say these things!!💗

Miss Etta just started talking, and I started my camera because she was saying such wise words. (She’s wise beyond her years.) She’s been dancing at TDH for about two years. And she has put in the work!

When she started, she asked me, “Am I too late to learn ballet?” I said, “Absolutely not. If you have the desire, you can learn!”

Her goal was to earn her pointe shoes. She worked with private lessons, extra ballet, and classes at the barre, and she is utilizing our Dance On Demand platform. In less than two years, she has her pointe shoes and has learned not only the art of ballet, but a lot of life lessons along the way.

Dance lessons are about appreciating and learning the art form and, coincidentally, learning a lot of life lessons and having fun along the way.

“Our girls have loved their time at The Dancing House! Melissa is a patient and energetic instructor. We love how she’s created an environment to support their growth as dancers and build their self esteem. Plus the convenient class times are a major benefit. As a mom, I appreciate that she has a low-key, but disciplined, atmosphere and lets little kids be little kids. I never have to worry about inappropriate or expensive costumes, makeup or crazy pressure. The camps offered this summer have been a lifesaver! The themes are fun and my girls have had a blast getting out of the house, being active and socializing with friends in a safe environment. The costs is super reasonable too.”

“My 4 yr old loved her dance/tumble experience at The Dancing House! You can tell Melissa has a lot of experience teaching, engaging and focusing energy for the 3-4 yr olds to keep it fun and upbeat while introducing them to the basics of tap. My daughter loved going every week and we look forward to the next session! I really wanted an intro class that would introduce us to dance without the craziness of some studios (i.e. extra expense of costumes, hair and makeup, etc), so after several recommendations, we gave it a try and so glad we did, it's perfect for us! Melissa even lent the beginner students shoes to borrow for their entire session so you don't have that expense before knowing your child will like it. All around, a great experience: quality lessons without the huge expense. Highly recommend!”
